Our Mission

In response to God who loves and calls us, Camp Squeah provides a place of refuge in a natural setting where people of all ages can build relationships, grow and be nurtured.

About History

Camp Squeah was founded by the Mennonite Church BC over 60 years ago. In fact, it was dedicated as a “place of refuge” on July 1, 1962. From the start, it was a special, Christ-centered place for children to learn and grow. Eventually, the camp began accommodating retreats for adults, and then educational groups. No matter what purpose has drawn the thousands of visitors this camp has hosted over the decades, it has always been known and loved as a place of refuge.

Camp Squeah is accredited by BC Camps Association because we meet a high standard of safety and service that is monitored by peers.
