Resources

Below you will find a few different resources that may be of benefit in planning your outdoor education retreat or help with the organizing and cost. If you have any questions about the resources please email our Outdoor Education Coordinator, Tim Larson at oedirector@squeah.com.

Teachers Guide

If you are wanting to bring your students to Squeah for the first time (or do an outdoor education trip for the first time here), feel free to download our ‘Teachers Guide’ as a resource to help you get started and thinking about the details in organizing the trip. We’re here to help you and want to make it successful! Give Tim Larson, Squeah’s Outdoor Education Director, a shout for more info: oedirector@squeah.com or 604 869 5353 ext. 105.

Camp Squeah’s Outdoor Education Transportation Subsidy

We at Camp Squeah believe that every student should have the opportunity to experience their natural environment and we believe this is critical to their social, mental, intellectual and physical well-being. In an effort to assist schools who find the costs of running an outdoor education retreat prohibitive or find it difficult to even afford the cost of transportation, we have begun raising funds to assist schools in mitigating the financial barrier of transportation costs. If you your school would not otherwise be able to afford the trip to Squeah, download the application above and send it in to our Outdoor Education Director: oedirector@squeah.com or fax it to (604) 869 5364 or mail it to: Camp Squeah, #4 – 27915 Trans Canada Hwy, Hope BC, V0X 1L3.

Streamlined Logistics

We are proud to announce this season we will be working in partnership with Camp Shipping Logistics Ltd. (CSL).

CSL will transport all your luggage and equipment from your front door directly to your cabin at Camp Squeah and then from camp back to your home again.  You don’t have to be home and wait for anyone either!  You can pre-arrange to leave your luggage in a safe pick up location and they will pick it up from wherever you like.

The convenient door-to-door service includes any 2-luggage items.  Please note; there are no size or weight restrictions.  Your luggage is fully covered by the built in insurance plan.  You can choose one way or two way return shipping. Prices start from just $35 based on your location.

They offer a group discount rate for 5 or more people that sign up together.

Book soon, as the trucks will fill up quickly during the busy summer camp season.
