Squeah Retreat Centre provides a range of facilities to augment a retreat groups’ experience depending on their goals.

Squeah Meeting Rooms

The main floor of the Lodge accommodates up to 200 guests for dining and meeting, while the second floor meeting room is suitable for up to 80 guests. Both meeting areas have woodstoves. The games loft is on the third floor with Foosball, shuffleboard, table tennis and pool tables. On the second floor our dorm style rooms are 52 beds in 7 rooms in a hallway. They are serviced by 4 toilet rooms and a shower room in the hallway. Lodge rooms require Squeah to cater meals for the group.

Capacity: 80-200 people

Emory Lounge & Meeting Room

Our Emory & Fraser motel style accommodations are designated for adults and families. The Emory meeting room can fit 3- to 40 people and has a small beverage counter, a projector paint covered wall for presentations, vinyl flooring and a washroom. The lounge is right next door and is comfortably furnished with couches and chairs, a fireplace, washroom and is carpeted.

Capacity: 20 people

Edelweiss Hall

Our original hall at Squeah, this building is a long hall that has tables to roll out with chairs for dining and can be rolled back for meeting and playing in. The end of the hall is carpeted with Futons for a comfortable meeting space by the fireplace and piano. The Hall has a screen for presentations and the adjoining kitchen for groups who wish to cater for themselves.

Outtrip Inn

The Outtrip Inn is a small meeting facility with covered concrete areas on either end for extra shade from the weather. The Outtrip is the meeting space and food prep space for groups who may stay in our tenting or RV area and wish to cater for themselves down there. It’s equipped with sinks for cleaning, soap and cloths, a fridge and a space to dine outside under cover.

Gymnasium

Our covered gym is great for group games and playing out of the weather. The sport court floor is good for running around or rolling blading on. We’ve hockey and basketball equipment for use in the gym and there are bleachers for those who wish to cheer others on!

Hermitage & Prayer Chapel

The Blessed Hermitage is a beautiful and artistically built set of out buildings in the woods on the cliff overlooking Squeah. Tucked away from most eyes, this quaint and mystical spot is a favourite for those wishing to spend some time quietly in contemplation or to read or as a destination for a short hike.

Chapel in the Sky

Our Chapel in the Sky is our largest fire side seating area. It’s located up the hiking path atop the ridge overlooking the camp. Seating for 150 or more on cedar benches and overlooking Mt. Squeah, it’s a magical spot in the wilderness for camp fires.

Swimming Pool

Our pool is usually open from mid-May to September each year and is available with a certified (NLS) lifeguard, either that your group provides or that we provide for you.

Covered BBQ & Picnic Area

Our covered BBQ area is a great spot for us to cook you a large BBQ meal. We can serve large numbers here (in the warmer months) and to have a picnic in the surrounding picnic area.

Camp Squeah also has a covered gym, small prayer chapel, multiple sized fire pits, a playground, large playing field, sand volleyball court, indoor games room, different sized meeting spaces, an outdoor pool, a small RV parking area, tenting area and many trails in the woods to enjoy.
