Summer Camps

Summer Camps

During the months of June to August, Camp Squeah is a full-time Christian summer camp serving kids as young as 6 years old to teens as old as 17 years of age. For our youngest campers, we have Mini Camps which are just 3 nights in length and we have extra staff tending to these youngsters. For our campers 9 – 15  years of age, we have 5-day camps that give these kids and teens the full summer camp experience with access to all of our camp activities and an overnighter in the woods with the entire camp. We also run intergenerational camps for families. Our traditional Family Camp gives families a fun and relaxed time with their family on-site at Camp Squeah and our Go Beyond Family Camp is for families who would like to go on an adventure together. Our other Go Beyond Camps are for teens ages 15-17 who want to participate in a challenging outtrip experience either canoeing, climbing or hiking in BC’s wilderness.

Camp Squeah offers several different opportunities for teens and adults to serve. For those who want to take a behind-the-scenes roll and help in the day-in day-out running of the camp, they can apply for our MUD work crews. For teens who would like to take part in our Leadership Training Programs, look into joining our Junior Leaderhip Training and Senior Leadership Training camps. We also have a variety of summer volunteer and staffing positions available as well as seasonal job positions.

Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education

During the non-summer months, Camp Squeah becomes a premium Outdoor Education Centre. We have welcomed many schools from all over the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley to Camp Squeah for our Outdoor Education program. Take advantage of our OE program tailored to your group’s needs or use our facilities to run your own OE program. School groups have access to a large variety of activities to augment learning and team building. Some of these activities include our ropes courses, climbing, bouldering and archery. Some hands-on learning activities include nature lore, aquaponics and geology & microscopy (certain activities are dependent on instructor availability). Your students will enjoy getting a taste of camp and the BC wilderness at Camp Squeah staying overnight in our rustic cabins and experience hands-on learning through the guidance of our trained staff.

Retreat Centre

Retreat Centre

When we’re not running our summer camps, Camp Squeah is open to rental groups. We’ve welcomed many groups from faith groups to corporate groups and have hosted many other event types. Our facilities are large enough for conferences upwards of 200 people and intimate enough for groups of 40. Squeah Retreat Centre provides comfortable accommodations in hotel style lodge rooms, dormitory style bunk rooms, cozy cabins and a couple RV hookup areas. We have a variety of meeting spaces that will comfortably accommodate your group. Sound system and projector rentals are also available. Let us cater your retreat meals or feel free to do your own catering. Depending on the season, our rental groups have access to all of our on-site activities (instructor fees may apply).
